Alpine Road Germany 2024: we will ride the oldest Alpine road in Germany from Lindau am Bodensee to Schönau am Königssee.

When: 24. - 26.5.2024

On the holiday route, we can find world-famous royal castles such as Neuschwanstein, Herrenchiemsee, Linderhof and others. We will visit the historic centers of Garmisch-Partenkirchen as well as Bad Tölz, Berchtesgaden with the Kehlsteinhaus or the salt mine. Along the way, we will discover many other "Bavarian originals".

We chose the route for pure driving pleasure for cars and motorcycles. Let's name the section from Bad Hindelang to Oberjoch im Allgäu, for example, "Oberjoch Passstraße" - this is the most winding road in Germany with 106 bends at 300 meters of altitude. We will drive the steepest section of the German alpine road in Chiemgau: from Unterwössen we will go up to the Masereralm with a gradient of up to twelve percent before heading back down into the valley to Reit im Winkl.

All this will take 2 days from our calendar and we will cover approx. 450 KM. Don't worry, we won't just sit in cars. We also have a walking trip planned, one can almost say a small hike.

An ideal road trip for couples in convertibles and other interesting cars. The program is relaxing, informative and certainly not suitable for drivers, who want to make the most of their car's capabilities. We have driving tours especially for them. We will be kind to our cars on this trip. Unfortunately, this does not apply to our wallets :-)
